I love Capote's writing. And his Holly Golightly character is one of the most fascinating fictional characters I've ever met, although a real life version of her and her lack of responsibility would be annoying. What is most alluring about her, and the story as a whole, is the childlike faith that everything was going to work out when it wasnt looking that way, even though the whole thing is a farce, an escape from the reality that we, the best of us, are not natural, but mutated upon or hanged by an outside force. I have the book if you ever want to read it.
