I still have warm and fuzzy thoughts about our trip up there, and the intro to roadside berries of the NW...mmmm...berries on ice cream with toasted almonds and chocolate sauce! I just picked more blueberries with the fam yesterday, and was stunned at the difference in flavor. They were magical, with almost a lavender essence...warm from the sun, and nothing like the ones from the store. Oh how I love this place!
